Just some background on me.. I started having headaches about 2008.. they were really bad sharp pain would run from the back of my head to my forehead.. that lasted from October 2008 till Feb 2009.. can't sleep either due to my headaches and my mind races.. they did a sleep study everything was ok.. so they put me on ambien.. didn't have any more problems till January 2011.. i started having headaches and throwing up.. couldnt keep food down.. did some test and my gallbladder wasn't working at all.. so I had surgery in May 2011 to remove my gallbladder.. a few weeks after that when i was back to doing all my normal activities at work.. i started to notice memory issues, mood changes, i have a spot on my leg that if you rub over it I can't feel you there, and headaches so i made an appointment to see a dr in July and had an EEG done.. went back to the dr in August and the dr told me i had EP.. he wasnt very helpful.. cuz that's about all he told me.. and he put me on Topamax..
Went back to the dr in September and was still having headaches and memory problems.. i didn't get a raise at work it was effecting me that bad.. so i was freaking out about that.. but not real spasms yet.. dr uped my dose of Topamax.. and did so till November when i had my first "spasm seizure" (don't know what else to call it).. it was all over my body.. i was "awake" though the whole thing.. (and the dr uped my dose and the pharmacy messed up so i have been taking the wrong dose for about 4 months..)
Had my next seizure January 2012.. I blacked out on my way to work and hit a road sign.. the dr is running an MRI on me Feb 13, 2012 cuz i got a tattoo in Dec.. so i can't drive for 6 months..
Since then i have had 2 or 3 more spasm attacks.. and have had a really bad headache that i have tried everything to get rid of (shots & pills) since Jan 30.. and my arms are really weak and are hurting.. Just wanting some answers just like most of the people out there with EP!! I don't know if there is anyone out there that is going through the same thing??
