I don't know if this is related to epilepsy or not, but alot of times when I'm asleep I'll jolt awake because I hear the phone ring. I'll start looking for the phone then realize that the phone isn't actually ringing.

I know that I'm not dreaming about the phone ringing and it happenes about 3times a month.

this is your future calling.......
and it's the wrong number

So I clicked on your post, and I read through this thread.
And the Ghostbusters theme song is now stuck in my head.
I'm hesitant to respond, as I'm afraid I'll drop the ball.
But considering your story, it's the Ghostbusters I'd call.
I've not had a situation that I can relate to your post.
But if ghosts are involved, I guarantee you're toast.
So err on the side of caution, as you know that you must.
And I want to assure you, my judgment you can trust.
I'm tired, I'm loopy, and have nothing to add...
So I made up this rhyme, 'cause like M. Jackson, I'm bad!

But in all seriousness, my mother did this kind of thing all the time when I and my sister were growing up. She doesn't have E, nor has she ever experienced any seizure symptoms what-so-ever... Honestly I've always believed that things like that are just your mind playing tricks on you when you're going into or out of sleep. But honestly, I have no idea, it could be seizure related. You could always bring it up with your doctor, and get his opinion. :)

I think this sort of thing happens most often if/when you are stressed. Also if you think about needing to get up at a certain time or expect to be awakened. I have a small repertoire a sounds like that: the ringing phone, doorbell, and, now that I'm a care-giver for my dad, I hear my dad calling my name. I know now to call out, "did you call me?" before getting out of bed. Most times he answers no, or doesn't answer at all because he's asleep :)

I keep thinking i'm hearing the phone ringing. Then it turns out to be my new cockatiel who has copied it perfectly ¬.¬

Silat, do you have Ghost Buster's number? That's a good idea, you've got me a little scared now so if you could get their number to me as quick as you can I'd appericate it!

I have an alarm clock to get me up in the morning to take my meds but I don't even need it. This is the same time that I feed my cats and the one is always pawing my face yelling at me to get out of bed. You should see them when the clocks change for day light savings, it drives them crazy because they have to wait an extra hour to be fed!

Dark horse?! Really?! I can't accept this scorn!
Clearly, as you can see, I'm a majestic unicorn!

It's not really poetry as I see it. It's more like mildy psychotic rhyming phrases that randomly pop into my head. Mostly for my own personal amusement :D

When I'm in the shower or vacuuming the house, I think I hear my phone ringing. I stopped and run to the phone but it's not ringing. I don't know why I do that, I have a answering mach.
