:hello:

I was in a motorcycle accident in April of 2013. I sustained a concussion due to hitting my head on the road. Ever since, I have had daily headaches with the occasional migraine. I have been to several different doctors with no relief. Starting a few months after the accident, I began having troubles falling asleep as my legs or head would jerk hard and wake me. I also woke up feeling exhausted. I started to notice that I had been knocking things off my night stand during the night and would have bruises on my arms and legs. I never really thought much of it as I just assumed I was moving around a lot in my sleep as I always have. Last week I woke up to my cat yelling and running across the room. My leg was shaking violently and I had knocked the lamp off of my bearded dragon's cage and broken the light bulb out of it. I was also having problems with while someone was talking to me I would suddenly stare off and be unable to answer them. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't talk. Then all of a sudden I would be fine again and able to talk. My head would also start shaking back and forth on it's own. I called my neurologist and went to see him. He ordered and EEG for me which I had done yesterday. I was called with the results today and was told I have been having seizures. My doctor started me on Keppra twice daily today.
That's my story. I look forward to speaking with all of you.
