I agree that he could have reacted to what was in your diet at the time of nursing. Vaccinations may be playing a huge role in his condition as well. There's a lot of aspects to consider.

Hey BeckyLee! I know exactly what you are going through, my now 14 month old son was diagnosed with epilepsy at 8 months old. He also has a milk protein allergy and his seizures started about a month after he started a milk free formula. My paediatrician assures me this has absolutley nothing to do with Aiden's epilepsy and that it is just a coincidence that they started around this time. It probably wouldn't hurt to get allergy tests done but I wouldn't be putting your baby on any vitamin supplements without talking to a doctor first. The formula should be giving him everything he needs. I hope everything works out with your son, if you ever need anyone to talk to, send me a message I'm happy to chat. I know how important it is to have someone to talk to who understands what you are going through, these guys here are fantastic! Best of luck.

Hi BeckyLee

Welcome to Coping-With-Epilepsy. Bernard started it out of the love of his wife, who has epilepsy. I hope your stay will be long and friendly. It has been for me.
