Hi there! I'm SOUPfly and it's a pleasure to be here today..or night as of now. I started having micro-seizures when I was around 38 years old and I had hundreds of them a day and at first I wasn't diagnosed right off and my doctor released me from her care. A couple of weeks later I was in a car wreck that nearly killed my family,so I was tested and I passed with flying colors to reveal that I had epilepsy. I have complex/simple partial seizures and I'm on my 7th medication to try & control them, but my neurologist has told me that this was the last medication that he could try...bummer! You'll come to find that I'm not ashamed one bit about my condition and love my life as a stay at home dad. I'm currently writing/typing a book about the struggles & adventures that go along with having epilepsy along with giving folk's some 411 about epilepsy. I'm one who believes that epilepsy is something we have...not who we are or what defines us as individuals. I'm an encourager at heart & I love to encourage people to live out your life to the fullest. I'm looking forward to getting to know you as we travel down this road together. Thanks for the input that you leave on here for other's to read and stay informed about things that you've learned while on this road. Peace, SOUPfly
