Hi to you all. Another newbie (waves). I was dx with epilepsy when I was 15. Had seizures for 6 months and then never had anymore for 24 years. When they started up again the drs seemed to think they were non epileptic. My last eeg reported abnormal findings but not epileptic form. My next neuro appointment is March. Bit fed up with having to deal with this all again and that my driving licence is gone. Thanks for reading x

Hi Shandy,
You have certainly come to the right place in CWE,there are plenty threads old and new for you to browse through. Also everyone will try and help you if you with any questions you may have.People are good on this forum, after all we are all suffering from the same condition.Hope you stick around, and wish you the best off luck.

Hi Shandy.

I believe I was diagnosed around that age as well. Mine never went away without meds, but at one point I decided to check anyway. Bad idea. :P

Welcome.

Thank you to all of you. That was a lovely welcome. Always a nail biting time for any newbie but you made it gentle.

Now all I need to do is work out the forum using an IPad. Give me a year or two lol

Hehehe welcome Shandy no need for nail biting here (unless you want to!)

I was 21 when I was diagnosed and just turned 40, I've had regular t-cs all that time and I've never driven- but I can imagine it's a real PITA to lose it after so long :/

This is a great board, so stick around and help balance up the US/UK level on here :)

Thanks slimblue :)

Yep it is a pain waiting the year but has to be done. I was legal to drive from last October. Delay in the paper work caused it to be put back by 4 months and then this episode happened. I get to see the neuro team again because of this, so really it's all good :)

Oh well, guess it's good how things turn out sometimes then :)
