Hello everybody, you can call me UsedAndAbused, mainly because that's how I've been feeling as of late. I was directed toward this site from somebody whose case is similar. As for me, I've had intractable epilepsy/seizure disorder since I was 12 years old from encephalitis. The severity of it has fluctuated throughout my life, but now it seems to be at it's worst. My main goal here is to seek and perhaps offer advice to those in a situation similar to mine. That's much easier when you're communicating with those familiar with the condition.

Hey UAA, welcome to CWE! Sorry to hear that your seizure disorder is worsening at the moment. CWE members are terrific at offering and empathy and support; make yourself at home.

Best,
Nakamova

welcome to CWE used and abused,

I'm sorry your intractable I know what that is like I'm refractory/intractable also.
It's not easy having epilepsy since you were a child I was dx'd when I was two.I can thank the doc who delivered me for my epilepsy though he used forceps on me.

Welcome UAA to CWE,

This forum was made out of love by Bernard for his wife Stacy. That love permeates throughout the whole forum.

Make yourself at home.
