Hi again Graidyn! To your previous question, yes, our meds can actually trigger seizures too, if they are at a level that is too high. Your doctor should be running levels checks when you complain of odd symptoms like anxiety, extremem lethargy, increase in seizure acitivity, chest pains, etc. It could be that your body is metabolising the drugs differently then the "average" person with epilepsy. (I'd like to meet this "average" person....) Try the lemon juice, and you might want to check out the alternative treatment thread and check out the vitamins section. Alot of people here have been helped by taking additional magnesium. For me, it cut my chocolate cravings down by alot, as well as helping my meds be more effective.
My goal is to keep my prescription dosage at a minimum. If I'm going to be on meds, I don't want to have to take alot.
Also, ny neurologist always told me that the heavier I was the higher my dosage would have to be. So if you're having weight issues, then you might want to make a resolution about changing your diet too.
Hope this helped!
