Hi, Im new. I've had a lot on my mind and epilepsy since I was in the fourth grade. Im wondering if what Im going through has anything to do with the disorder itself or the medications I am on.

1st question: Is it hard to love someone if you have epilepsy? Im talking pure emotions, not because epilepsy gets in the way. I've been with my girl now for almost 3 years and the whole "love" thing is an issue. Sometimes I really feel like I could marry her, and others Im thinking maybe we should break up.

Im on 2,000mg Keppra, 600mg Lamactil, and 1,200 Felbatol Daily.

2nd: Street Marijuana. I can't see myself getting my hands on medical so I was wondering if there are any strands sold in the street that I could get my hands on and if it would help.

I know theres more questions, but like many, I've forgotten at the moment.

Please Help!

Speaking for myself, no it's not hard to love someone if you have epilepsy. Not at all.

As far as marijuana goes, it's a controversial issue here, with strong opinions on both sides. We make a point of not endorsing any behavior which is illegal. You may want to read these threads:

Hello there. :)

Can't help you on the love thing but maybe I can with the mj. First of all, getting a specific strain on the street is pretty impossible. It's kinda just the luck of the draw. If you have access to a dispensary or personal grower it's much easier.

Indicas (couch-lock, full body high) are in my opinion, better for people with seizure disorders. I don't handle sativas very well, those give more of a heady high, and make me anxious and paranoid.

I just did a quick look see to find recommend specific strains for epilepsy. White Widow, many of the "kush" strains, sour diesel. It's really subjective tho. What may work for one person may not work for someone else.

Look online for Granny Storm crows list, it's pretty cool too.
