Hi
Im Sam. I landed here looking for an answer about the cost of Topamax. I have had E for years, decades. I went through surgery. Did a couple drug studies. learned not to drink. so I might be able to help answer a few Qs.

Welcome Sam

It's always good to have another person who can help answer questions as well as having their own questions answered.

Wellll, the

cost depends on where you're at, and if you're using a mom & pop chain, a medium sized chain or a large pharmacy chain, as well as your geographic location and the number and size of the pills/tablets.

I'm using a medium sized grocery/pharmacy chain--been there for 25 years now. IF I were to pay CASH for my scrip (60 Topamax, 100 mg each for 30 days) it would cost me $554.52. But I'm using brand name--I have to.

You might want to call around to different pharmacies, and get some quotes....

Hi Sam - we went the drug route with my daughter and it made life H***. so we are now focusing on nutrition and neurofeedback. Great results so far.

Hi Sam, and welcome! I hope you find all the good info and people here, and feel free to add to the mix.

Best,
Nakamova

Thanks for the feedback epileric, Meetz1064, RobinN, and Nakamova. Wow, Meetz, you would be paying a lot if you had to pay in cash. That seems ridiculous for a med that has been on the market so long.
