how are you people

I don't know should I post it here or somewhere else. but I guess I'll post it here. I never had a single seizure, but about 2 years ago I saw a video on youtube. it had a heavy strobe effects in it. the background was changing fast from total white to total black. it felt like my brain where lighten by radiation. I couldn't use a screen for like 2 months. time had passed and I had no serious problems. but recently I was watching another video that had strobe effects also, not as heavy though. and it felt something like that also. I still can use the screen, but not always, and not for long. before this recent time, it was always normal

so I have a question, can I have a photosensitive epilepsy yet to discover? again, I never had a single seizure. but by now I can tell that watching anything that has at least a little of strobe effect or flash photography seems disturbing

is it possible by now to say that I have a serious health problems? or that I can, or will have them in the future?

health to you people

Epilepsy,

My Son has E not me...I was recently at an art exhibition that I had to leave quick as possible, the way it was visually presented my brain simply could not handle it…made me feel mega nauseous/ dizzy, thought I would hit the deck if I stayed one second longer and even when I got out, felt like I was on a boat out on the Ocean in the worst possible storm. But it passed.

Don’t think any of us can predict future :) but if you uncomfortable with what you experienced you could go to doc and maybe consider asking for referral to neurologist for EEG & MRI, to put your mind at ease.

Epilepsy

Thank you for asking about us but "you people" implies something is wrong with me and there isnt - not being smart or rude its just me. You could be photosensitive but you have got to realise there are hundreds of types of epilepsy so first find out about them, they are all not like the tonic clonics you see on you tube. You cannot tell but you know strobe lighting effects you so get a neurologist for yourself, its not wise trying to diagnose yourself. Epilepsy does not mean you are not normal, its like diabetes or anything else, its a problem and you have to deal with it, ok its not that straight forward, like a lot of others here I work, I drive and guess what I am married, so a serious health problem is cancer and god forbid any of us will ever have that. There is no knowing if you will have them in the future or not this is part of the reason you get a neurologist and doctor, so best of luck.

Good Health to you also

Liam
