Hi everyone. Thankfully i haven't needed to be on this site in a LONG time. Unfortunately, something happened to me last night that i am not sure what exactly happened. I was sitting on the couch and my son was playing his usual car game and i was watching what he was doing. At the same time, i was getting really tired and i was fighting going to sleep. So i am sitting there and all of a sudden i couldn't move my entire body and i just stared at the tv. I could hear my son ask me a question, but i could,'t respond to him. I could'nt move for about 20 seconds or so. Just wondering if this was some sort of seizure or some kind of sleep deprivation disorder? I was outside for most of the day enjoying the sun; which probably made me extra tired last night. If anyone could give their feedback, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter!

You described what sometimes happens to me after a seizure. I either can't talk or I talk but I'm told after I made no sense.

I've also recently learned that I'm not aware of all my seizures. I can have a seizure & not know it which sort of bothered me when I found out.

No problem.

I don't know if it's scary as much as frustrating because I don't feel like I have as much control as when I'm aware of my seizures.

What I was trying to point out is that you very well might have had a seizure even though you weren't sure that's what it was. If you are aware that you can't move your body that's great because (assuming that was a seizure) you will have something to let you know what's happening if it happens again.
