Been an awful long time since I was around, or so it feels. A lot has happened in the last year or so. I'm still out of work and on disability now. Still not seizure free, but haven't had a tonic clinic for about four months. Also been seeing a sleep clinic (im sure it's just the meds causing me to sleep so much but hey ho) and had some rather lengthy appointments with the neuropsychologist to test my cognitive function. That made for interesting reading when I got the results in the post!

Anyhoo my laptop is bust so finding it a little hard to keep up with forums, just thought I'd drop in to see how every is doing and meet some new people too!

Lou! Glad you dropped by for a visit and an update. It's nice that you've kept the t-c's away for so long, I hope that streak continues... And I hope your family is doing well. And the budgie too. :)

Haha yes, unbelievably, Bob the budgie is 11 years old and still going strong! I also have two cockatiels now :)

I still have plenty of partials and have had more trips to a&e than I would like, but hey I'm still living lol. Not injuring myself in silly ways would be a bonus :P next thing is getting the sleep clinic out of the way now that they've finally decided I don't have sleep apnoea. Not sure what else they're going to suggest, but I've had enough of them lol.

Ima have a nosy around at some threads whilst my hot water bottle makes my bed toasty. Mental note - must acquire a fella to do that job!

Good to have you back Loopy Lou. Sorry 'bout those miserable seizures. Sure seems like they won't leave us alone, doesn't it. Maybe it's 'cause we are the "good witches". ;)

Gotta find that good fella out there........:ponder::ponder:

Hang in there and keep in touch!

hello Loopy lou,

I'm glad to hear you've been sz free for 4 months,I was ecstatic when I went 4 months sz free and that was awhile back in 2013.

Nice to meet you Loopy Lou. I have only been here since Oct. or Nov. It's great you have not had any seizures in 4 months. I hope it continues.

Hi, nice to meet you too! I'm not really seizure free, just tonic clonic free. My neuro doesn't seem too concerned about partials though so I guess that's ok.

So long as there's no more tonic clonics then I'm fairly happy!

I only have partial seizures. I was on Lamictial for a few weeks when I had a partial and he doctor seemed very alarmed. I wasn't alarmed at all, as the frequency was way down and it wasn't near as strong as most of the ones I experienced before meds. I haven't had any since.
