I am skeptical that this site will benefit me but am willing to try. I had a seizure on 10/23/2011. My last seizure before that was on 10/24/2010. I had meningitis in 2002, this is when seizures became an issue in my adult life. I, at 6 wks. of age,was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, and was diagnosed at 18months Dandy Walker Syndrome.I have a shunt and have had many shunt revisions.As a baby I had post-op seizures. When I was in college carrying 14 credit hours and having 2 part time jobs I seized.The doctors blamed stress, but the reason was actually a shunt malfunction that was discovered and corrected several months later. There are lots of us in here who have multiple neurological disorders - seizures are just one of them. I find a lot of comfort from the people in here who truly understand this part of what I'm going through. I'm hoping you do, too.
