Hi all. Was trying to do a bit of research but not getting very far, so thought I'd throw it out here. Bit of background first, basically, I was diagnosed in 92 (I was 21) and up to about 2005 was pretty well controllled with only Sodium Valproate. At this time I was referred to a new consultant (I'm in the UK) who tried me on Keppra with the SV, but I didn't react well at all (mood problems). After a couple of months I was switched to Clobazam and to put it mildly, the results were fantastic and luckily for me have been since. So to my point! For the last few years, as my seizures have reduced to nil I've found that I get really emotional at the slighest thing - tv, music, news stories (good and bad), almost everything has me in tears. Not floods of tears, but nevertheless as a 41 year old man it can be a bit embarassing at times! I know what I'm talking about is pretty insignificant, but I'm just curious as to whether others have had any such increases in their emotions as things have got better with their epilepsy?
