I just want to say hi to everyone and hope that we can learn from one another about this dreadful thing we all share which is epilepsy. I've been having some weird seizures lately where I'll be walking and doing things i'm not even aware of. Anyone else have these? No, they're not aura's. I have plenty of those. Let me know if any of you have these because my doc thinks i'm crazy.:banana:

Hello Scoobydoo57~

Welcome Scoobydoo - Hope you find yourself at home here.

Hi scoobydoo :) -- Welcome here.....
That "exact" thing hasn't happened to me. One time ~blush~blush~ I was chatting quietly with a very special, very proper guest civillian couple at a formal Air Force event and I had a CP.
ALWAYS when I had a CP I was completely silent - just swallowed, licked my lips and stared into space. After this one was over the lovely man told me that ~blush~blush~ I cursed the dickens out them using complete filth that they could not imagine I even knew much less ever used. Thank God these two people knew and understood I had E.

Anyhow -- that's all I know about me doing "unknown" things.
Welcome here --- wishing you the best.

Hi Scooby! Welcome to CWE. :) Actually, I had one of these last night. I managed to walk into the house, go to the bathroom, undo my overalls, sit down, and use the bathroom, all while being completely out of it....fun...... :)

Hi, hello, and

how do ya do? And welcome to CWE! You've found a wonderful place to be! Kick up your feet and stay awhile, why don't ya? There's some wonderful nooks and crannies in the house that Mr B (Bernard) built for us..... he's built us an AWESOME home...

Buckeye should be around soon with coffee (his is the BOMB as are his pumpkins)....in the meantime, make yourself at home. There's all sorts of neat things to check out in the Library, and people to talk to in the Kitchen. Speber has a WONDERFUL Auditorium for your listening pleasure, too. And RobinN is the queen of nutrition.......And if you need a place to vent, go check out the Padded Room......

Now, in answer to your question......I myself have not had that problem, at least that I'm aware of. But, there are plenty of others on here, that I'm pretty sure have...

Welcome! And take care!

Welcome Scoobydoo -

I'm sure that you will find this forum as helpful as I have. Everyone here is so wonderful and understanding. Mr. B has created a place that makes us all one big family.

Hi Scoobydoo, welcome to the forum. :hello:

Scooby dooby doo ... where are the scooby snacks???

Coffee time!

First button down the hatches down their in the Carolinas before Hanna comes to visit. Then sit down, dry out by the fireplace, rest yourself and enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea or cocoa or ???).

As you have probably already read, your experience is not too unusual (your doc needs to do some research). Epilepsy shows up in so many ways. I have had it for 27 years, but was ignorant to all the various forms until just the last couple of years.

Welcome to CWE!!!
