Hi all~ Just joined today, I hope to learn alot. I've had epilepsy since the age of 21 , now about 43, and yes I am proud of my age, as I have earned it! Anyway, my seizures are the generalized complex/partial refractory and all that jazz, they tell me different stuff, with each seizure, and EEG, so I just have lots of different seizures. Been to the EMU at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Ctr. formaly known as Boman Grey Medical Ctr. anyway thats another story unto itself. Enough about me. Glad to be here, and thanks for having me! I hope to learn alot from everyone!

Hi loulee! Welcome to CWE. :) As you'll quickly see, this is a great group of people. :) Feel free to ask questions, chime in , or just vent when needed. :)

Morning...Loulee
Welcome to CWE. I hope you do learn a lot here, as I know I have. I think we are even teaching our doctors a thing or two lately.

My daughter has tonic clonic seizures.
She is off meds and has reduced her episodes with nutritional changes, vitamin and mineral supplements, and neurofeedback.

Look around, and if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call out.

Welcome to CWE- I joined a few days ago myself and met a lot of neat people and learned from there experiences/stories. Its great to be around others who experience epilepsy and seizures- it makes a big difference in coping. Take care and be safe.

Welcome to CWE Loulee! Come on in and have a seat by the fireplace. Its cold here in Ohio today. Settle in and join the conversations. I joined last February and have enjoyed it ever since.

I am 47 with E since I was 20. I don't know that I am proud of my age, but it doesn't bother me (except the creaky joints). I am proud that I have still led a pretty normal life while having epilepsy. It is not always easy, but I think we all can be proud of our endurance.

Welcome! I am 53 and was just diagnosed with partial seizures this year although I realize I've been having them for sometime. You've come to a terrific place to learn and get support!
