I was diagnosed with partial complex seizures when I was 16-months old due to a lesion on my occipital lobe. It's been 20 years since my last seizure, but I am still on medication for them.
My husband and I would like to have a baby in the near future so we've begun taking precautions in order to safely have a baby (I'm switching to Lamictal from Carbamazepine). I just had a new EEG and MRI done.
The EEG showed no seizure activity at all, but the doctor said she was going to call me today with the results of the MRI because she "wanted to talk to me at length about them." I'm really nervous and trying to "will" the phone to ring. Ha!
All of my previous EEGs showed seizure activity so I don't know what this means for me.
Just saying hi and giving you a little more of my story.
