hi all,

i've never joined a forum like this before.

my names jade and have been epileptic for 15 years now.
i suffer fom what they call temporal lobe behavioural epilepsy where my emotions are my main triggers to having seizures.

mainly i have complex partial seizures but have also experienced my fair share of grand mals.
i am on slow release tegretol and topomax.

i joined up to find people to chat and support that i cant get with my other friends and family.

I talked a bit about emotional triggers in the http://www.coping-with-epilepsy.com/forums/f22/proactive-prescription-epilepsy-1254/ thread. Have you looked into neurobehavioral therapy techniques before?

Have your doctors mentioned anything about hippocampal atrophy by any chance?
