i have moments of being a hot epileptic. i usually get a major temperature spike just before a seizure. does that count?

Oh honey we're way BEYOND glistening with perspiration here in Las Vegas. At 113F degrees, our clothes stick to the skin. And sometimes shoes stick to the pavement. Vinyl seats and metal from the seat belts in the car will cause 2nd degree burns. Running barefoot just to the mailbox will burn your soles so bad, they'll both be one huge mass of blisters in the morning. Cans of soda swell and explode. Car batteries die. The thermostat in the house is set for 80 degrees and I'm cold. Outside in the afternoon is hot enough to bring on a seizure if we are outside too long. The Mojave Desert is a sweatbox............ without the box.

So, baby, are we hot epiletics?

Damn skippy!

Up here in Canada, I had no idea that car batteries could die from the heat. Cold, yes, not heat. We can make soda cans explode too... with cold.

also Canada

In the winter yeah... but the last few weeks it's been so hot here (Canada) that with the humidex (when they count what it feels like with the humidity) it's felt like 43C (109F)

It was 120F degrees yesterday. I laid down and took a nap and what woke me up was the sweat running through my hair. My pillow was drenched, I was so HOT I was melting!

Is that hot enough for you, honey?

it is nice to know there is somewhere you can have your ego stroked

Hot?

Down here on the gulf coast of Texas, we finally have a reprieve here from the high heat index-sometimes around 110 in Aug. I become a hermit in those months. I love the Fall, it lifts my spirits to know I can finally sit outdoors w/o fear of dehydration.
Aside from that, I'm hot all year round!!
