How did you all come up with your usernames for this forum

Mine's pretty obvious, my name is gina and my favourite decade is the 90's
 

How did you pick your forum name?

I like to know how people picked their forum name. Kind of a fun way to get to know people. I collect Indian artifacts, mostly arrowheads, and the Clovis is my favorite kind. I also think it is just a pretty female name. My female Auusie/Lab mix is named Clovis too. So, how did you pick yours?

My username is a nickname family uses for me. It's a shortened version of off my first name.

I did always wonder how you got yours.

I used to see it, and for some reason, thought it had something to do with africa.

No idea why I got the africa bit from... but there we go
 
My first name is Sabena. I tried spelling it "Sabina" when I was a kid. I got SO tired of people calling me Sabrina then explaining that there was NO "r" in my name. Another issue would be people pronouncing it with a long "i".

I like your first name

My best friend is Croatian and had similar problem, her 1st name can be spelt amd pronounced 2 ways.
But mostly it gets shortened
 
I started collecting pig Nik Naks over the yrs. and at one time I had over 1100 pigs sitting around the house
between pictures, dishes, pot holders, cookie jars, Christmas ornaments etc so it was then that I got the
name Porkette. Also don't forget if someone calls you a pig to say "thank you" because P stands for pretty
I intelligent and G for girl or guy.

My name is courtland. Granted it is not an uncommon name. I see it available in most places as an user name. Odds are if you see a c0urt online causing trouble it is me.

I am half Croatian myself! My mom has a very unusual name (for non-slavic people), she tried shortening it to make it easier and people still can't say it properly! Now she just laughs at all the different ways people say it.

I use Greywolf just because grey wolves are one of my favourite animals. Not really creative I guess, but it works.
 
Hello. My username is a nickname I've had since childhood. It could be considered a shortened version of my first name--Sabena
 
It's so interesting to see where everyone is coming from and what made them pick that name. My name is Ocean, but I prefer to go by something different online, so Bubble it is. Along with that, whenever I'm not feeling great, I sit in a tight ball, with my knees to the chest and a giant hoodie around my entire body. Sort of looks like a Bubble
 
"Jake" came from the duck beanie baby. As I was at the duckpond one day watching & feeding the duckies. as I was thinking about a username i thought of the duck beamie babies and went home to check the name and it was "Jake" and ever since so have I. Some people now call me "Jake" instead of my given name..So that's where my username came from.

When i was still living at home many years ago i bought a pup just before Christmas.
I couldn't think of a name so as my brother and his wife were visiting i decided to take the 1st letter of each of our names
Jake

Jim being ny dad, Annette being mum, Kevin being my brother and Emily being me
My brothers wife also started with A lol
