For those of us who are lucky enough to have jobs and can work, how early do you start your day, and how early do you end it? I start mine at 5:30am and bail out at 9:30am. If I could get a nap at around 2 or so, that would be fantastic!!

Ermmm, I'm

confused. Do you mean that you end at 9:30 PM? LOLOL.

My day usually starts at 2:30 AM, and I end up giving in by about 7:30 or 8PM. Sometimes later than that, it just depends. However, I am an insomniac quite often, even with the melatonin, and will quite often end up doing something, such as slide in here for a while, until I can shut down again.

Wow! You guys put me to shame. My workday begins around 8:30am and ends around 5:30pm, although it stretches as needed. Of course, I'm my own boss and I work at home...

I usually start work anywhere from 6am to 8am. And I get up about an hour before hand to get ready and catch my bus.

I end at 5pm monday to Friday.

Weekends I sleep in til 11am or longer and my day ends between 12am to 4am.

I get up around 5:30AM (est) and start work around 7:30am and usually get home around 6:30PM. My body seems to be pretty accustumed to the schedule so I'm usually up before the alarm.

Work? BAHAHAHAHAHA!

LOL sorry, in an evil mood today. :evil2:

Usually up around 6:00, at work by 8:00. Seems like I need that wake up and watch the news time to get started. To bed anywhere from 10 - midnight. Never had much trouble with insomnia until the last few years. I don't think it started with my Lamicatal, probably more stress related.

I get up at 4:10AM and catch my van to work at 5:15AM. I try to go to bed at 9:00PM at the latest 9:30. With this schedule I have to get up pretty early on the weekends because if I get to much sleep I'll actually have seizures.

For job #1 I work from 7am to 7pm 3 days per week. For job #2 I work from 7am to about 4pm just a couple days per month. Either way I have to get up about 4:30am and try to be in bed between 10 & 11pm. On my days off, I'd like to sleep til 10 or so, but more often than not, my kiddos have me up by 7:30. Fortunately, I am blessed with the ability to fall asleep (95% of the time) within 10 minutes from the time my head hits the pillow.

As late as possible? My summer job ended yesterday, but it was up by 7:20(AM), out the door by 8:30, at work by 9, and home by 6, give or take. Pretty cush, I suppose.

How do I get a job where I can work at home :ponder: Someone sign me up :)
I get done with work at 4:30, but as you know once you get home then you have laundry, dishes (empty the dishwasher, but still I have to bend over!) entertain the other half...blah blah blah. I do take an hour after I get home to read.

Ya huskymom-I'd love to work at home too.... Would be a great way for us all who have seizures to earn some money!

I am up at whenever and to bed whenever---at least till school starts next week. Having the summer off is next best to not working!

When school is going I am up at 5:50 or so and to bed at 10:30 or whenever my nightowl teenager quits talking. That is the only time she likes to talk is bedtime, so I just enjoy it as long as she talks to me!

Actually, I

work as a freelance writer. I also substitute teach during the school year. So, I can work my schedule sort of the way I need to in order to accomodate dr. tests, etc.

Because I am divorcing, and I have a friend going through chemo, I'm going to move in with her for a while. Save up some money for my own place til the house sells, and I pay off some bills. She's having a rough go of it, and needs the extra help. We get along well, and we'll be fine. She's the one that asked me to move in. :)

So sorry to hear of your divorce and your friends fight against cancer. I know that you are strong and will be able to help your friend. Let us know how things are going!

Unless i take on extra shifts (which i've been able to do more often now) My working day is from 3pm-8pm tues, weds and sun, and 5-10pm on either monday or thursday.

The extra shifts i've been taking on usually start at 8am so i have to get up at about half 6.

I'm currently working in 3 different places *dies*

Well I suppose I am blessed with the job that I do have they are quite accomadating to my scedule for a retail job they don't have to be but they know I am not going to waste their payroll hours.... I work for Nike Factory Stores 2 blocks from my apartment so I am able to walk home from work hubby drops me off in the morning on his way to work M, Tu, TH, F pretty much from 6-3 or 7-4 sometimes they will throw me a curve ball and ask me to work 8-5 but it is pretty unusual. Sometimes I will work on Wendesdays but since I have choir on wednesday nights in another part of town i usually will spend that part of the day on the other part of town running errends or such and have kent pick me up or visit with friends before choir practice since that is my day off usually.

I'm up at 8:30 and work until <7pm or so and also work at home and I'm up until maybe 1am

As i work in forestry it always changes depending on where we are working, sometimes its a bed an brekfast for the week, other times 6am with a 7am start and at the moment i get up at 5am picked up at 6am,home about 6.30pm.I need my strong coffe in the morning, hence i try and get up a bit earlier so im not rushing around.

Up at 6:20, work at 7:45 or so, end whenever I need to (self-employed/work at home) but usually around 4.
Just like Neil said, need that strong coffee in the morning too, so get up about 1/2 hour earlier than I really have to - kick the day in right.
