As someone who is impacted by a family member who has epilepsy..

It's easy to focus on what you can't do & feel down...but you have to pick yourself up & make do with what you can do.

We are all guilty of taking things for granted ..until its not ok.

One step at a time I say, otherwise it's too overwhelming.
 
I was dx'd with epilepsy when I was 2 years old that was50 years ago.

Im refractory and my seizures happen at any time.My sz's don't embaress me that's life.

If I have a sz so be it. I take my meds they just don't control me and generic tegretol will send me into a sz.
I kknow what I can do and can't do and I don't let my epilepsy stop me.
