Momma, hand me the shot gun! It's a Huntsman spider from Down under.

EEEKKKKKKKK EEEEKKKKKK I literally freaked out with that! *barf*

seriously! I did a quick scan of the room after I saw that, just to settle myself down that there were none on my wall!

lol rae. Sometimes when I have a complex partial seizure it feels like I have walked into a cobweb on my arm...totally freaks me out.. then afterwards I really dont know if I did... or if it was a seizure..yuck cause i will take off my hoody and start shaking it to make sure there is not a spider in the hud and turning it inside out..

I got this for my girlfriends 5 year old son. He loved it (we named him Boris) but mom was veeeery unhappy about it so we kept him at my place for when they visited.

He still guards my place for me.

That was the first thing she said to me when I stopped. “I’m not crazy.”

I don’t know if she was trying to tell me or convince herself. Her car was stopped in the lane. It was blocking the traffic exiting a busy parking lot. I stopped to see if I could help her, or at least unblock traffic so I wouldn’t have to deal with it when I tried to leave later.

“I’m not crazy, I promise.” She told me. I found out her car was mechanically fine. She stopped in traffic because there was a huge bug on her dashboard, and she is really afraid of bugs. She also told me. I tried my best to at least look like I was taking things as seriously as was.

So I looked for the bug, and once I found it scooped it it out of the car for her. She thanked me before driving off, but those words will stick with me.

“I am not crazy, I promise.” That should have been a clue, I swear.

When we were younger, my cousin Lisa had a giant plastic spider like that, and it creeped the hell out of me! I was really terrified of it.

In our house at the moment there has been a load of HUGE spiders about. I can only get close enough to them to upend a pint glass over them and then run away really fast.(they're bigger than the rim of the glass cos their legs often get caught, euuurgghhh!)

Then i leave them sitting there til my little brother comes to throw them outside for me.

I used to work with animals, and i found it strange that i could handle all sorts of creatures - vicious dogs, scratching cats, biting snakes, lizards, even cockroaches at one point. But i could never ever go near the tarantulas.

Yeuch!
