has anyone experienced this sort of effect after a seizure period?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypervigilance
"Symptoms

People suffering from hypervigilance may become preoccupied with studying their environment for possible threats, causing them to lose connections with their family and friends. They will 'overreact' to loud and unexpected noises; become agitated in highly crowded or noisy environments etc. They will often have a difficult time getting to sleep or staying asleep."

I have considered the term 'paranoia', loosely though, because I never heard of the term hypervigilance - which I think is more accurate.

my Son is in neuro/bio feedback thearpy (since Dec last year, weekly sessions) and they found area of brain that locked in hyper mode and they are working to tone this down..
