my trigger is tiredness and if i go bed a bit late ( 9pm) lol i always have a seizure in the early hours ... so that interupts my sleep so im mega tired the next day .... im not sure what to do anymore got the neurologist on thursday hopefully they may try meds :/ ...
its just both my EEGs have come back normal :( i feel like im going in circles :(

sorry rant over ! :P

Negative EEGs don't rule out epilepsy, and your neurologist should be aware of that. Have you had an in-patient overnight EEG? It sounds like that might be more likely to show something.

My son (he is 3, going on 4yrs old) had 3 EEG's...all normal. He has tonic clonic absence frontal (nocturnal) seizures. My guess is his average is once or twice a month, that 'I' am aware of. Anyways, his neuro was a bit skeptical in the beginning (did testing, no meds)...even tho when the ambulance came he was unconscious and his oxygen was 70 lips blue!...The 2nd time the ambulance came, this convinced her and she put him on meds, regardless of neg EEG's. Have you sought out a 2nd opinion?
