I feel drunk but am not I dont drink achool. I just feel all woozy and dazed and I dont know if its effect from seizure yesterday it self or what er did to me when I was out of it for to long. I just dont know but cerntnly feal woozy, dazed, and haven trouble walkin. thats all have to say right now

Is there someone who can stay with you right now to keep an eye on you and make sure you're okay? The wooziness could be the after-effects of the seizure, or also from medication. Do you think you might have injured your head in some way during the seizure? Or taken an extra dose of medication by mistake? Consider going to the ER to get checked out. Also, make sure you drink enough water -- sometimes after a seizure it's hard to drink, and the dehydration can make you feel lousy. I hope you feel better soon.

ya hada alot of questions my friends will be home soon 1 went to get other from work. i doubt i hit my head during it was told afore they let me go it was cp a long 1 already been to er. I dont have privillage to have health insurance to have drs to have meds so for now my sitation when bad sz happens go to er for them to fix it so no on extra dose. and not problem on stayin hydrated

Amanda Beth!

Hello...just wanted to let you know that it's most likely a combination of your meds and a very long post-ictal (after-seizure state, like deja vu) period. Please log off your computer, climb into bed & sleep, OK? Take care!

Yes, the ER docs probably gave you a high dose of meds -- they tend to overmedicate in order to make sure you don't have multiple seizures in the ER. And they sometimes give what's called a loading dose -- higher than normal. So I agree with Ann T. -- your body is dealing with a lot right now, and rest is a great idea...

thanks. fyi i've not been outa bed been typin this all fro my phone. i will try nd catch few z's

omg

I've read the info papers on what they've done and omg. They made mistake nd gave me shot in right arm the metal plate in wrist first time then when didnt seem to work hada give shot in left arm ridclous as they have it on record that they cant get blood from that arm and that shots dont go through right in right arm cuz of the plate. not only that they straped me down wich is not safe when person has szs also it could hurt me cuz of another issue i have.

Hey, Amanda Beth
Oooh!:| WHY?! Personally, I'd look up the name of the ER M.D. & techs who checked you out & then go back to the ER & ask them why they didn't bother reading your med recs...then again, I worry you'll get refused treatment if you need to go to the ER again(I'm knockin' on wood really hard that you won't)...when I had to go to the ER, they put me in a head restraint/head & neck 'stabilizer' (as the EMT's called it )& kept me strapped in from shoulder to ankle. I cried myself to sleep because I was terrified since they wouldn't allow me to see my mom...

if they werent only er in 25 mile radius i would go give them peice of my mind as for now they our my only option so not in my best intrest to do so. Though I wanna give them peice of my mind they did 2 no no's 1 they gave shot in right arm so hada go give me 2nd 1. mistake 2 was straped my arms nd legs down nd i have brittle bone sydrome they lucky nothin broke supodly i was combative i dont know. all i know is it danrgrous to strap me down on my back cux of seizures and brittle bone. but as said it wouldnt be in best intrest to tell them off cuz if need treament nd they refuse im in trouble. i'd be in big trouble by time get to next closet er oh well not much can be done

You're right, better to play it safe. I just get agitated when EMTs & ER M.D.'s make things worse when they honestly don't mean to. And, if I upset you, my apologies. Take care, Amanda Beth.

ann im not upset with you. just with er cuz they coulda done serious damage with careless mistakes that shouldnt have been made nd i wish i could tell them off but i cant at moment.
