Wooh - going on 4 months without a single tonic clonic after a dark period ... My myoclonuc jerks are a little better on a daily basis,I have never had any other type of seizure or aura and yesterday I got wasted at Oktoberfest - I feel really... Out of the woods ya know? And I may never have another tc and be fine ... There's hope for me with JME- I think it's the bestest epilepsy to have if you are gonna have E and ... Anyone ever go through these happy periods and feel constantly you are just waiting for the other shoe to drop?

Congrats for the 4-month milestone! I think most of us are familiar with that feeling -- half-anticipation (of another seizure), and half-hope (that we never have one again).
I'm at 4 years seizure free, and I still get nervous...

Graties to you both!

I think we E folks appreciate days more...esp when we make it through another one seizure free!

:woot:

I agree we all live in hope of no more seizures and we do appreciate days more.

Congrats AI! Here's to many more (TC free) months to come. :)

hi

Yay you should definately be happy that you have been seizure free for that long thats great!! i have been seizure free for 6 years and i do often wonder if i will get it back and i have told my boyfriend everything so he is prepared for the worst if it should happen so for now i take life as it comes and enjoy life while i can :)

congrats!!

That is great news--to hear you have gone 4 months, hope it continues.

It has been also 1 year for me, except when I have taken an antib. or vitam.
--so knowing what trigger them (they were soooo small) I chose not to count them.

Congrats on being seizure-free, T/C's, that is, even after drinking.

I've been free of T/C's now for six years, still have the CP's, but I have been free of those for awhile. I do know the feeling, tho, of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know I will never be out of the woods.
