I couldn't believe this happened after so long.I'm sore as can be from the sz's I had. They were witnessed by 4 ppl I know and I know I had a tonic clonic, absence some myoclonic jerks.

I was conscious during my sz's and could hear ppl talking but couldn't do or say anything.

I guess this is a start all over for me.

Belinda,
So sorry to hear about your seizures :(.
It sucks that you had the seizures again but on the plus side congrats for going 2 1/2 months seizure free.

Belinda,
I am so sorry to hear about that. I know 2 1/2 months was a long time for you and I know you were wishing for so much more but I am so happy for you that you got this far!!!!! :) I cant wait to watch you start all over again! :agree:

I talked to my neuro this morning about the seizures I had last evening.
He wants me to keep him informed about it,especially if this was a one time thing or if it continues.

Belinda

Did you do anything which may have triggered them? Eat something? Drink Alcohol?

You mentioned the seizures were last night and witnessed. Does this mean you were up later than usual or otherwise sleep deprived? Maybe this was your trigger, or at least a contributing factor.

I'm so sorry to hear this but hoping it is a one time whammy as you've recently trimmed down some meds. Maybe it's 1 step back but 2 forward (even longer time seizure free coming!) I'll keep every finger crossed for you.

Does your doctor give you any emegency meds to try and break the cycle?

The only thing that happened last night was I was in a crowded room, and that is a trigger for my seizures crowds.I was up front not facing people as I always do. I have no idea if this might have anything to do with that?

Belinda

Belinda, you you feel anxious or overstimulated (a bit hyper) around crowds?

no I'm not anxious around crowds this is something that came on yrs back. If I go into a crowded store it doesn't bother me, but when I'm sitting and I get a feeling of a sz in my head, and it doesn't always happen but I'm almost certain this was the reason I had those sz's.

You mentioned in your initial post that it is 'a start all over' for you. Maybe not, as now you say that crowds trigger your seizures and you were in a crowd the other night. Have you been in crowds in the last 2 1/2 months, aside from the night before? Just how big of a crowd are you talking about - eg. would a busy shopping mall cause you an issue? Can you avoid crowds? Probably the easiest way to manage things if you can is to avoid crowds.
Do daytime crowds cause issues (eg. on a bus, shopping in a busy place, etc.) or just at night when other factors may be at play (fatigue, haven't eaten recently, dehydration, lots of flickering lights, etc.).

The shopping malls have no effect on me.In the past 2 1/2 months I've been in bigger crowds. I need to be up in the front of a crowd where I can't see all the people.Like if I was in a crowded church I'd have to sit up front were I can't see the crowd, I wouldn't be able to sit in the back I'd seize.
Crowded buses don't cause problems with me.

Hopefully what you've said then solves the issue of why you had the seizure the other night. Sounds like you might have found your answer and what trigger to avoid, and no need to panic and "start over" :) Good luck to you.

This crowd involves my religion and it doesn't happen all the time.
If it happened all the time that would be different,There can be 100people there I might and might not have a seizure. I've been places were there have been 5000 people there and sometimes I'd have a sz and sometimes I wouldn't.
I'm not going to put my life on hold for a maybe.
