Nearly time for another video eeg session at Kings College Hospital (next week).

Beats me as to why, MRI said no brain damage. 12-18 SP seizures per month I can cope with, no tonic clonic since last august (touch wood).

Also I had a long chat with my parents and decided that I like my brains the way they are.

Besides this I nearly went stir crazy last time and as i'm undergoing psychotherapy for PTSD and Social Anxiety Disorder (at The Priory, NHS take too long to get appts) I figured ten days or more shut in the telemetry unit at Kings is the last thing I want at the moment.

I think i'm going to cancel the appointment and speak to the neuro about medication changes instead.

I would have to agree... ten days sounds a bit like torture to me.
I hope your neurologist takes the time to listen to your concerns.
Good luck
