I like families
pre post: if I could figure out how to fix the title I would, that bugs me. Apologies for the error.
I couldn't find the information I was looking for in the threads that I found via search, forgive me if I missed one. My husband and I would like to be parents. We've been trying to have a baby for close to (or more than) two years now. I confirmed with my neuro that I was safe to go on with my lamictal and the subject has been brought up in every appt since. She doesn't have a whole lot of advice to give about conception, and I wouldn't expect her to. My lady doctor told me everything was okay when I saw her a year ago. Obviously, the only babies I have are still my two cats. I've an appointment to see a specialist in a while. I read that a lot of people here are parents or expecting and I just want to ask if they had problems with this and if there's anything special out there that I haven't read about to help us out. Prior to this my focus was all on a healthy pregnancy with my meds and the seizures that still came with them, I wasn't prepared to consider epilepsy to be a problem with the conception matter.
