With my sleep study two weeks away I'm trying to gain knowledge and pointers on what to explain to the doctor, and how to explain it.
My boyfriend describes that every night after I fall asleep my legs shake violently and that's how he knows I'm asleep. I thought this was a hypnic jerk (ie normal), but after re-reading what a hypnic jerk is, I don't think it is one. It's not painful and it's not Restless Legs Syndrome.
Has anyone ever heard of their legs shaking right after falling asleep?
