I want to lose 7-8 kgs in the coming 3 months. .. I am doing workouts, walking and exercises daily, but not getting the kind of result as I want. Can anyone please guide me?

Hope you don't mind

I moved this message to the lounge as it's not about epilepsy. You should also introduce yourself in the lounge. I'm sure everyone else (like me) would love to know more about you & welcome you to the site.

From what I've heard, weight loss is simply eating fewer calories than you are burning.

I have belonged to several weight loss groups. They emphasized drinking water. Personally, I find water something that potentially washes meds out of my system, so I prefer sports drinks with electrolytes in them.

For me, when I have the will to do so, I minimize caffeine intake. It can make a huge difference.

I've recently lost over 55 lbs. I suggest eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking plenty of water. Avoid caffeine, fried foods, high fat foods, carbonated beverages, sugar, alcohol, and processed junk foods. When you're craving a snack or something sweet, reach for some fruit. It's lower in calorie than most other snack foods and it's very satisfying. Eating fewer calories than your body burns is the secret to losing weight. Usually consuming between 1500 and 1800 a day will insure weight loss if you are exercising.

All great

hints. Also, I will add, PORTION CONTROL. Use a salad plate rather than a dinner plate when getting your food. The portions will look a lot bigger, and you will feel fuller sooner.

Take care,

Hi Keenan! Well, let me see....here's what I did to lose weight:

1. do NOT drink ANY soda (it doesn't matter if it's diet or not...)
2. eat 6 times a day (nothing more then will fit onto a salad plate...and I don't mean pile on the food 5 inches deep either....)
3. Only shop around the edges of the grocery store
4. Don't eat white bread, white potatoes, or white rice if at all possible...
5. Don't eat any premade foods if at all possible (loaded with sugar, salt, and unecessary calories, and questionable ingredients...did you know that anything you eat or drink that is premade and red, orange, or pink in color is most likely that color due to the use of crushed cochineal beetles as a colorant?Yummy.....beetles.... And yes, that includes energy drinks, sports drinks, and juices...)

Hope this helps. :)
