I want to post something posative that applies to all here.

I want to say i appreciate having the opporturnity to visit here and meet with you all and discuss. I am glad I can come here and see others going through similar situations and realize Im not alone where offline I would never really see that.

Even though things may seem to suck so much right now, I am trying to focus on the fact I have the ability to finaly have my medicine and ability to rest and HOPEFULLY get full seizure control whether eventually through medicine or other methods.

So far this journey has been such a test of patience...and Ive had so much frustration with the lack of education people have regarding epilepsy..what makes me sad the most is the lack of education even medical professionals have regarding it...but back to the posative... dont they say patience is a virtue ?

:agree: I agree with you so much. This place has been a great haven for me as well. When I joined in early 2008, I was in the dumps pretty bad with medication side effects. No bad seizures, but plenty of the other issues that go along with E and meds.

My friends here really got me through a lot even if they don't realize it.

THANkS TO ALL OF YOU!:rock::clap:

This forum is not only a font of knowledge, but also understanding and caring. You can ask any question...bring any problems...verify any information...help others...plus rant and rave if you need to.

You've done well! And we're glad you're here...

You may not realize it vapour, but as much as you get out of posts shared by others, there are numerous members and lurkers who find comfort or wisdom from what you share too.

Forums have enormous butterfly wings. :)

The Padded Room

Yep - the padded room. It is such a safe haven. I had one of the first threads in there. :paperbag:

Oh, I agree! I have an ongoing rant in there about my love-hate relationship with the meds. I know this is the one place with people that will understand, because they've been there.

This is the place where everyone understands what we go through and experience. Things our family, friends, colleges and even medical personal don't!
It's a unique type of family (sorry Bernard, but your little dinner party has evolved) Thanks for inviting me to be part of it, Mr.B! I am so thankful for the opportunity.
CWE was there for me when I lost my parents and when I lost my best friend, CWE was there for me when my epilepsy went into remission and when it reared it's ugly head. CWE has stood by me when everyone else turned their back and I've made some fantastic friends along the way.
Ok. Enough mushy stuff!:bigmouth:
