So I know many of you have been exposed to painful tests checking for responsiveness while being aware of what is happening to you...

Well I thought sternal rubs were bad but I have now know of someone
who was unresponsive and they placed an intraosseous iv and she could feel the pain the whole time. They drilled into her bone!
She had a seizure during the procedure but holy moly.

Someone will always have had it worse just when you think you have it pretty bad.
I will never, ever complain about sternal rubs, finger pinches or muscle twists again.

Can you even imagine?

Oy! Just the sound of drilling sets my teeth on edge.
