...does the ER specify where you had it?

I tend to assume it's administrative processing..... slows everything down no matter how important.But it is weird to have not gotten the suspension notice after 11 days.
I see the point of the original question. State data bases don't always communicate with each other. If you have a seizure in a mandated reporting state and the seizure is reported, but you live in another state, it may not be communicated to that other state.
I don't recommend driving in any case if it's against the law in your state, even if the seizure happened somewhere else.
Unless your state prohibits it, many of us in here keep our drivers licenses and just tuck them into the back of our wallets. We don't use them except for ID. We don't drive for the legally required amount of time. We also keep our auto insurance, but change it to the kind for a car that is never driven. The reason is once you relinquish your license and/or your insurance, it's really hard to get them back.
