I guess I should give everyone my history...I started having tonic clonic seizures in April of 2009. The first one resulted in a head injury that left me unconscious for over an hour. It's taken 2 years to get medication that works for me, but in addition to that I was diagnosed recently with non epileptic seizures as well as fibromyalgia. I'm really happy I found this site and look forward to learning more about how these conditions effect others.

Welcome Marlena
When I first was introduced to CWE, I went to the Library and started reading all I could. It gave me a great overview of what I was dealing with for my daughter.

I have found alternatives that have helped my daughter tremendously - especially in the nutritional choices.

Remember, how many years you were seizure free. There are ways that you can raise your seizure threshold to regain that brain and body health again.

Hi, Marlena,

Welcome to the forum!

I'm glad you've finally found meds that work for you. Having to deal with epileptic seizures along with non-epileptic ones and fibromyalgia is a heavy load. I hope the support and help here will make it a little easier.

And G'morning

to you, Marlena!!

I'm sure you're going to find plenty of friends and information here at CWE, so hang around, I'm sure you'll be pleased with what you'll find. :)

The dinner party is a blast, so kick back and relax.

And Robin's got a point there........

Hello and welcome :hello: Glad that you found use. Enjoy your time here.

After dinner, I will help with dessert! I have a HUGE sweet tooth :)
