Break a leg Girlie :-)

yes, the appointments are so few and far between eh…my Son's neuro, been treating him from day one of diagnose said this week (bless him), sees my Son as a kinda of Son (what?, he got an active loving Pa, what the hell do we do with that statement, trust ‘it’ all more, hell no, ) ,......but you know, I can’t help wonder if the 'treatment' would be the same, I just don’t know…. and well, we doing our own thing no matter what..

let us know if any new revelations ;)

hugs...

Thanks. :)

Chaz, he's always been able to get me in quickly, like within a few days, I just procrastinate. I'm too embarrassed to say how long it's been and if I wasn't about to run out of meds I'd put it off even longer, lol.

My dr seemed more personable today and spent time with me unlike the other times. Absence makes the heart grow fonder? Haha.

Anyways, he increased my Lamictal from 150mg to 200 (XR). And it's back to the name brand. He wants to see me again in 6 weeks to see if the little episodes improve on the new dose.

It was a very good appointment. I actually like my dr now. :p

I'm glad it went well. Liking your doctor is always a plus :)

Sure hope the med adjustment keeps the "little episodes" in check...

Yes, if u find a doc who ‘cares’ it’s great….sounds like yours is warming to u alright ;)
We left my Son current neuro to go to an E specialist and well, we went running back, literally...He likes his neuro (great, thank God). But me, I take ‘it all in’ with skepticism until proven otherwise, coz I am teaching my Son how to deal with the ‘medical’ world… and we should not limit ourselves to medical doctors only, and that’s just my belief and I passing that onto my little clan...

Just so glad for u that u had good session, after the long put off! Real glad to hear this CathyAnne..

Glad it was a good experience! Nothing better then leaving the Dr.s office with a sense of accomplishment. Hope the increase in Lamictal helps as well.

Cathy -
Glad the neuro appt went well. It does make it is easier if you like your neurologist.

It's nice that it went well. And here's hoping the dose increase takes care of business with zero side effects.

Im glad to hear your appointment went well! I hope the increase in Lamictal works for you! :)

Glad it went well. I'm thankful my Neurologist doesn't mind answering questions, it makes me feel that he cares and he does and all Neurologists shouldn't mind answering questions & addressing your concerns
