My 16 yr old daughter has been working at a Boy Scout summer camp since early June and has loved every minute. Each day the staff teach different merit badge classes to the boys. She eagerly texted yesterday to say she's been teaching an epilepsy medit badge class to this weeks camp attendees. I was so happy when she told me that! She said at the end of her class that boys were raising their hands and asking more questions. These kids learned something, hopefully someday they will also spread the word.

I'm very proud of my daughter.

You done good, Cathy! Reminds me of my son when he was still in high school taking public speaking/speech class. Once he gave a speech about his mom's seizures/epilepsy. I was so proud of my son.

That's awesome! Stacy and I have volunteered our time at Scouting camps before, but I never knew it was possible to do anything for an epilepsy related merit badge. 8)

She is a good daughter, no wonder your proud.
