So, I havent been on too much lately. but I have been on reading, just no time to respond. Been a little exhausted lately.

My wedding social was frustrating, too many little details bugged me to post them on here because I'm sure there isnt enough room. but my big pet peeve was that we sold 300 tickets and only 117 people showed up. sad... It was a friday night too.

then on saturday we had to wake up early and make food for our potluck picnic for a friends birthday. I ate before hand knowing that I probably couldnt eat what was there. then we went to karaoke and sat in a small cramped private room where it was hot an stuffy and gave me a headache and the spins wuth the disco ball hanging in there.

then we went to boston pizza and I ate spaghetti *they have gluten free pasta there that I didnt know about* and 2minutes after it shows up I get a phone call. The girl that lives with me *kaitlynn* got beat up on the way home from work. She is completely black and blue, and knows the guy who did it, she just doesnt wanna call the cops and have him come after her again because our justice system sucks and he would be let out on a promise to appear in court. or given a conditional sentence.

She has cancer *dont know what form, but she said its rare and that only her family and one other family in manitoba have it and that they are guinea pigs for treatment. her dad died from it* and she was kicked so hard I was worried about internal bleeding or factures, yet she wouldnt go to the hospital...

then the rest of the week has been just boring and also busy. my parts guy who I hate at work has quit, leaving me ot clean up his mess.

I want chips and dip!!!

What a week Rae. I'm so sorry about everything that's happened. I would encourage you to have Kaitlynn report her attacker to the police anyway -- the more complaints about him on file the better. Any chance she could she get a restraining order?

It's no fun when work is boring and busy, but sometimes that can be a good way to distract from other things. I hope your week finishes on an up note, and that you can have a relaxing weekend.

Oh, Rae. That is an AWFUL week. I'm so sorry. I wish I could fix it for you, but I can't.

Take a deep breath. Ahhhhhhh.... Is there something that relaxes you? Favorite music? Favorite book? Favorite thing to do? Would Chad give you a nice long relaxing massage? (Tell him it's my prescription for you, and we'd all be very grateful)

<<<hugs>>>

It sounds like you need to take 1 day off to do just what YOU & CHAD want to do just as a small distraction. It might make it easier to go back & face what needs to be faced.

{{{{BIG HUG}}}} I sure do hope your week gets better Rae, definitely sounds like you could do with a day or two off, the stress can't be doing you any good :(

(((((((((((((((((((huuuuuggggggsssss)))))))))))))))))))))

That was a long hug hehe.

I hope things get better for you soon x

I hope you're doing better Rae, you've had a rough time of it lately. You deserve a break and some relaxing time..

As for Kaitlynn, it's worth considering reporting it to police. If she is afraid he will do it again a restraining order is possible.

But you are right, the justice system here is completely inadequate. He would get a conditional sentence, they give them out like they're going out of style.

It makes me so mad that his guy who attacked her will be on the street again if they arrest him. The amount of times people have been released on promise to appear and then commit another crime...

She shouldn't have to live in fear and this guy should be spending some time in a jail cell.

**big hugs to you and Kaitlynn**

Wow, what an incredibly stressful week! Kaitlynn should have herself checked out by a doctor as soon as possible so that event can be put in writing. Can she have a friend escort her to various places?

I hope that whole situation gets better for you. Anyway, best wishes to both you and Chad.
