Hi, everybody, my sleeping problem isn't getting better with age (started at about 14-15). Since I also have Hachimoto, my doc gave me recently beta blocker. I was surprised as I felt much calmer. Started to read and saw that u can also use some antidepressants in small dose just to become more relaxed and calm. My family doc said it could be a bit dangerous because of epilepsy, an an appointment with neuro is somewhere in October. Please, guys, somebody knows anything interesting about insomnia (that i don't)?Just a joke!
Love to everybody

This thread is almost 20 years old now, but you might find something useful in it:

A new trick i recently heard is interesting.
With your eyes closed. Try looking left and right slowly.
I’ve found it similar to focusing on your breath. (Meditation)
I actually do both simultaneously. The general idea is to focus on anything than whatever’s keeping you awake.
Side note from the same article that stuck with me: Your eyes are an exposed part of the brain. 😮
