Anyone else see intense fractal images like a kaliedascope when there eyes are closed during a seizure, saw it the first time I had a seizure and was going T/C, and I saw the same images the other week during a partial, these are very colorful intense vibrating color changing images, I read somewhere online about people seeing them during an aura, I had one neurologist tell me it wasn't related, but obviously for me they are. I don't see them any other time.

Sounds like the aura of a visual migraine. I have never had that during a seizure (mine are Complex Partial) but I have had it separately as a visual migraine 5 or 6 times starting a couple of years ago. My mom does not have seizures but she has had the same type of visual migraine. We both see the kaleidoscope pattern with our eyes open and closed. I haven't exactly timed how long mine lasts...maybe 30-60 minutes?

These two videos on youtube do a pretty good job of visualizing what I see:
Edit...ok, I'm too new to post links...

If you search youtube for "Migraine Clinical," the first link that comes up is "Uploaded by cbeyedr on Dec 19, 2010 (jduJpQCc5ao)." At about 1:35 into that video, it shows the kaleidoscope pattern, which is pretty much what I see.

And if you search youtube for "Visual Migraine Animation," the first link that comes up is "Uploaded by jandr1ch on Jul 17, 2011 (fo139jYAFzA)."

I get something like this...

...on odd occasion (usually in the morning in the bathroom!), if I cough HARD, I see a kaleidoscope 'mirage' - basically, it's intense pin-lights moving around in a uniform pattern, interweaving and crossing over each other like dancing 'spotlights'. It generally lasts no more than 15-20 seconds when they disappear one-by-one. But it isn't remotely connected to a seizure as I'm perfectly compus mentus throughout. The brain really is a weird thing at times!

It's similar to that, and I use to get flashes of light out of the corners of my eyes too.

I get migraine auras and that sounds very similar. I lose my vision for 20 minutes then a headache.
