I was diagnosed with complex partial seizure disorder about six months ago and have been on medication since then and seizure free. Over the past few weeks I've had an electric shock feeling on the right side of my body, which causes me to be a bit disoriented for about 30 seconds after. This is not like any seizure I have had before and I am not sure if I should go to my neurologist about this.

I would for sure bring this up to your neurologist. Anything new I always tell my neurologist. The office of my doctor has special nurses that take phone calls, and If anything comes about, that Im not sure of, I always give them a call to ask about it. If they dont think its concerning, they will note in in my chart and if it happens again, they ask that I call them to let them know.

I would say that it's definitely a seizure.....electric shocks are one of many symptoms I deal with daily. Mine go from my head to my body and cause split second muscle spasms. But like momof3boys said, you need to tell the Dr.
