When we were living there i was afraid to take the kids around to the houses.....

we lived in a nice neighborhood I thought.... until I noticed the gangs around us they would walk in fount of the car in a line id have to wait until they moved just to get by them... it was truly awful I hated it..... to add more all my husband is talking about is moving back "choking" Im chicken i didnt like it there.... the gangs scare the crap outta me.....

but I would have taken them to your house they would have loved it!!!

SCARY!!! lol

Awesome Birdy!

I love a good Halloween house! I like to make 'em EARN the treat!...too scared! = too bad!......unless you're a little one---then the mask's come off and lights go on and scary music turns off, etc....extra double-handful of candy!!!!!

Bummer for me though...I ended up pullin' the 'walk the kids around the neightborhood duty!.....and most of the neighbors weren't even home this year!

Oh well, maybe next year!
:bjump:

You're house looks AWESOME Birdbomb :) My daughter would have loved to have trick or treated somewhere like that. There was one house close to us (a funeral director) who had a casket on a table with mummy inside and someone was hiding underneath the table who would grab your leg while someone would come at you from the woods with a real chain saw. Scared the you know what outta me, but the kids loved it.

Thank you kindly! I love Halloween. But alas, the poor purple spider, Charlot may not survive another year, so I may have my son build me a casket. Thanks for the idea, I can really expand on that one!

For Next Year's Halloween?

How Interesting!

:ponder:

This year my 8 year old was Spider-man, my 6 year old was a pirate and my 3 year old was Cookie Monster. I do have to say that Cookie Monster was a HUGE hit!! Everyone thought he was so cute. Ty (my son) doen't even know who cookie monster is, he just heard the word monster so that's what he wanted to be. He would growl at everyone thinking he was a real monster. We had a lot of fun and boy do we have the candy ~ too bad a started a diet 3 weeks ago:rolleyes:

BB, your house looked great. I'm sure all the kids appreciated the effort you put into it.

We let our boys keep only a couple of pieces of candy from their trick or treating. The rest gets donated to a local church. The kids get to pick out a toy in exchange for giving up the candy.

Thanks, the adults loved it too, we have motion actived spiders that would drop on them at the gate and BoyOboy! was that action FUN to watch!

Well, it's all been taken down, packed up and put back in storage for another year. Old man brought home all 12 boxes of Christmas decortions from the storage facility! Time to get busy!!

I love it Birdbomb. Looks nice. Cant wait to see your Christmas decorations. Looking forward to that. LOL..

I'm going to have to post a picture of my halloween costume. I won most original in our costume contest. ;)

Happy Halloween!

AWESOME House, Birdy!

We just got back from Salem, Ma yesterday. They do a great job with Halloween. I haven't been on this site long enough to post pictures so you'll have to wait till next year to see some of the cool costumes.

We cut the trip in half this year due to my daughters seizures. We still had a great time and I'm happy to say that my daughter only had one small seizure at night without waking. Phew!

Awesome!

I was a rubik's cube :p:rock:

Neato! That was awesome, but wasn't it
hard to twist and turn you?

::: snickers ::::

Kidding!

But that must had been COOL!

I went as

A construction worker for Habitat for Humanity. We have a charity parade at work. I once volunteered for H4H, partially cuz we had to write about various civic organizations at work, partially cuz I met some interesting people, partially cuz it relieved stress. (Bang around with a hammer for a while.)
