Some do. I wouldn't. Sounds painful to fall or jump out going 50mph, even if the rollercoaster didn't trigger the seizure. Doesn't matter what triggers it, just that you might have it.

Same reason that I don't scuba dive.
 
I'm a roller coaster addict. I have petit mals though, (although I've had one grand mal before) so I don't know if that makes a difference. I don't notice any increase in activity after or during a day at Six Flags.

I will say that I do close my eyes the entire ride. I actually just love the feeling of the coaster without the view. My friends all say that's cheating because it makes it less scary, and I tell them I have no problem with it being less scary :)

What kind of dog do you have? It's really cute! It looks kinda like a lundehunde, but maybe not? I can't see the body! :)
 
I don't know if I count, as I usually only have a t/c about every 4 or 5 months, and they mostly only happen when I am sleeping... But I love to go on roller coasters. Last time I was at Busch Gardens, I went on every one there, most of them multiple times. :)
 
Thanks Endless! That's my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He's something else, such a ham. I also have a German Shepherd, and while I think she beautiful, she just isn't what I'd consider cute :)
 
I"m like Seize the Night, I only have partials but that would never keep me away from a roller coaster.

Right now it's just age & less craving for adrenaline that are the only reasons I haven't gone in a while.
 
I think that all of the roller coasters have locked harnesses that you couldn't get out of if you wanted to, with that being said, i am scared to death of roller coasters but wouldn't see it as a problem. i am hypersensitive to things like that... i tend to think about all of the stories where there were malfunctions though! :) I tend to be a scardy cat:roflmao:
 
I asked my neuro about this and he said that it would be ok as long as I didn't go on anything with alot of loops and turns in it.

I went and rode the rides and ended up just fine.
 
I like them a lot, but have since stopped because a lot of them have flashing lites or some kind of dark tunnel that you go through where they take you picture, another flash. I say if they don't bother you in anyway, then go crazy :rock:
