The mind boggles. currently im taking one lamictal 25mg in the morning one citalopram 40mg at night and inhalers morning and night, then the lamictal will go to one morning and night, then one in the morning and 2 at night, then 2 morning and 2 at night.... thats the plan for the next 4 weeks. while keeping up with the inhalers and the citalopram.... day 2 and my mind is boggled. im already struggling to keep up with myself. Anyone have any tips, methods? anything? Im going to start forgetting to take stuff soon :ponder:
Thanks all

I totally understand. I am only on one med for my epilepsy and it is easy to forget, ie did I take one at lunch, etc. The phenobarbital I take supposedly can be taken all at once, but that did not work for me, so I take 3 x day. plus I take other RX drugs too.

They have many different types of pill holders at the pharmacy. The one I like the best has 7 separate round containers all in different colors that screw together and form a stack. This works for me because if I am going somewhere during the day I just take the day's container with me. Set comes with 2 screw tops, so you also can leave your day's pills on the counter separate from the tall stack which I leave in the cupboard This pill container is not childproof same as most other 7 day pill holders.

If you do not use a pill container system, you should write down each time during the day when you take your meds to make sure you do not think you forgot a dose and then maybe double-up.

thanks for the tip guys. deffo going to get a pill organizer. cant risk missing anything. thank you so much!

I keep my meds in pill containers seperated into the times of the day that I take them. I don't know if you have trouble remembering to take them on time too or not but I have an alarm set on my cell phone to go off when it's med time.

Like others have mentioned a pill box is a good idea to keep track of your meds.
The pill box I use is 7 little containers (1 for each day) & each container is separated into AM & PM. My pill boxes sit on a tray, which is kept on my kitchen bench. I usually take my tablets with my breakfast/tea so I won't forget them. I have a little clock near my tablets which has an alarm on it that is set to go of at 6:00pm each night.

Another idea to remind you which dose of the Lamictal you should take each week is just to write on a calendar or in a diary the dosage of your Lamictal for the week.

I have the alarm on my phone, an am/pm weekly pill box and I have a white board on my kitchen wall dedicated to my current dose juggling and appointments at the moment. I also have a calender to help with appt reminders, if it's not on the calender it's not happening. :-)

Thank you for all the tips. i keep all my appointments on the fridge with a magnet currently. Im going to start marking on my calendar what date the dosage changes and get a pill box to use, the problem is my house is that hectic in the morning with 4 and 5 year old boys to get to school and nursery i sometimes forget what i have and have not done already!
