This is why you need to be very vigilant about what you eat when you don't fix the food yourself. Many times you believe you have made a good nutritional choice, and then find out it has additives that you were unaware of. Thank goodness for the internet, because most companies have the nutritional information online.

Ingredients:

KFC® Grilled Chicken
Fresh Chicken Marinated With: Salt, Sodium Phosphate, and Monosodium Glutamate. Seasoned With: Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Secret Kentucky Grilled Chicken Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added As Anticaking Agents.

I think the stuff listed as "Natural Flavor" or "Chicken Broth" is often hiding yet another processed additive.

It's very helpful to see this list Robin. I know that all of KFC foods have a TON of MSG in them, more than you'd find in a chinese restaurant.

After having tasted the 'grilled' chicken from KFC I would suggest if your going bad go all the way the original fried chicken but then again being from Ky. I have to partial to KFC. That and the 'grilled chicken is not that good.

What's wrong with chicken broth?

when you see broth on a label, it can easily be another word for MSG. Isn't that crazy making? It is said that MSG is natural, so what is the big fuss. Our response is... so is arsenic. Do we want to eat that?

Even many of your chickens and turkeys in the grocery store have either been sprayed or soaked in a formula that would otherwise be known as MSG.
Hard to find a way out...

thats so gross!!!
its a good thing that i like cooking for myself more than eating out. Im sure hoping sushi is safe!!!1

...just be aware that there are some fish that are high in mercury. In grocery stores they are suppose to warn pregnant women, and infants that they should not consume these fish, because mercury is a rather dangerous substance.

Just passing on the facts.
We eat sushi, but only about once or twice a month.
Canned tuna fish is another one that needs to be rationed. Tongol variety I have read is the best.
