Does any of you toke keppra for couple of months and suddenly its became less effective? When i say less effective i mean that you see it still give protection but only some and you can still get seizures in higher dosage than when you first started it and seizures stoped after first day of taking it.

I feel bad,now even seizures that din't happen in day time except mornings started to appear when i do my trigger.its like my brain learned how to pass the keppra mechanisim and keppra can't handle it very well.

Thank you for your statement! I just left the hospital last week and I am on a total of 12 extended release of the Keppra XR. I feel ashamed to say to the Epileptologist that I am still having sz. My husband said I had a gen'l sz in the car coming home oh crap! I do not want to bother people but! The only meds left are the test drugs. She took me off the tegretol xr. I am on the zonegran too. I do not want to be on anything else.

They plateau! This happens w/ a lot of drugs for me. They recently found the cause of my seizures via an MRI and I am tempted to have a third surgery to remove it.
