Lamotrigine can still be got in 200 mg in Europe, I do not know about America. There should be no problem getting it in United Kingdom. Glaxo Smith Kline UK are trying to replace the slow release tablet with chewable/dispersible tablet, the thing is they have decided to with draw the 200 mg in the chewable/dispersible tablet.

Like Ireland, the government is promoting generic drugs as they are far cheaper, thus saving them a lot of money.

Just had another word with chemist they won't be getting anymore 200mg.talked to dr he not a clue apart from being told at present they been told they got prescribe 100 and 100 two separate scrips.

I had a simillar problem about 2 years ago with my chemist, they wanted to put me on the dispersible type which does not agree with me. It took awhile but after a lot of arguing the chemist finally got in 200 mg again now they are starting the same thing with epanutin on me.

At moment chemist has no 200mg.chemist next door to doc chemist owes me months worth. He just gone over to doc with script made him do 2 separate scripts 100mg..To make sure I asked boots chemist and co-op they both said same will not be dispensing 200mg it manifacters from what I understand.I just worried it be stopped.i don't mind how I take it as long as I get it.going read NHS now
