l had flat mate we met in hospital when we both having test for e.we shared flat in Somerset. She was also fanatic Liverpool football surported and ent over England and Europe following them, unfortunatly Hillsborough was one of them she was one of the 93 who died.
I have been on several memorials for victims and family and to day is last day official Memorial Day..
I remember so well that day the tv showing red white football surported shirt cos husband gone to arsenal I saw death toll coming in I thought arsenal then saw Liverpool and knew instantly she was victim as was unable to get line to her number. Her husband told me few days later.
I felt awful seeing bodies laying on pitch knowing she was one of them.
today it been put to rest although court cases still pending that why won't name her altho her name was spoken today.
Americans proberly don't know about Hillsborough but Brits most definatly do.My friend had very bad e always in hospital but never let it get in way of her footy.
RIP now all victims of Hillsborough .Just felt wanted share it

Hillsborough was a tragic sight, I remember first hearing about it and then the images on TV, my brother-in-law was supposed to go to the match but he was too sick to travel. I am sorry to hear about your friend on that faithful day, I cannot believe today is the last official memorial day.

Not day pass not thought of her I nearly went with her I did not go into footy I mooch round the cities and she went.i was with my son at York huffing and puffing about meeting her.It was way we met kept in touch if Liverpool playing any London teams she would stay one or two nights.
She was not English but Swedish her e was about as bad as it could be and it is thought she was sz when it happened which caused some legal problems it small comfort that she may already been unconscious there Ben more than one postmortem how you prove or disprove in a case like that I thought be impossible as I understand it many were sz-ing who did not have e.Her e was so bad often needed someone with her all the time occasionally her kids would go but she preferred going alone it was her way of forgetting for 90 min just how Ill she was her e was unlikely her life would been long she often had status she ended up kings collage London where we met surgery then was experimental but I think she would have had it.i think today it all at rest.for families daughter never kne her mum she about three at the time but the girl did lovely website for her mum.
I was due to get married but husband and me had falling out and I went to live with her for short time.nearly every bone was fractured due to e
I know some of the details what the damage was that day makes for sickening reading and police horse featured but I not at liberty say what because of court. She and the others at peace and due to Hillsborough there never be something like that again.
that one lady who very brave my e nothing like hers but she lived her life to the full

I had never heard of this before. I spent a lot of time last night reading about Hillsborough and other tragedies like it. What a horrible, horrible thing. I am sorry for your loss - it sounds like she was a great friend to you.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Hope you're well. She would want you to be.

She was lovely lady and the deal with husband when she got married she do all the vows etc but every Saturday or week days if Liverpool playing it all had to stop and off she trot.
The families have had rough time getting justice how do you measure it one family lost two daughters my friends kids never knew ther mother
It was disaster with policing many lies or rather cops economical with truth.
Football changed for good that day and not for the better
